About the role

Harmony Early Education is opening a brand‑new centre in Graceville and is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to lead a studio. You will create play‑rich, inquiry‑based learning experiences, champion children’s voices and cultures, and support families through transitions and school readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead your studio with intentional, play‑rich and inquiry‑based teaching.
• Champion children’s rights, cultures and identities in daily practice.
• Plan, document and assess learning using EYLF v2.0 and QKLG frameworks.
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families.
• Collaborate closely with the Educational Leader and teaching team.
• Create environments that inspire imagination, challenge thinking and spark joy.
• Support transitions, school readiness and continuity of learning.
• Model professionalism, reflective practice and ethical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of EYLF v2.0, QKLG and contemporary pedagogy.
• Passion for intentional teaching, play‑based learning and inquiry.
• Reflective, collaborative and curious approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Commitment to child and cultural safety.
• Warm, engaging presence that naturally draws children.
