Early Childhood Educator (Certificate III or Diploma)

About the role

Explore & Develop Lilyfield, a boutique early childhood centre on Norton Street, is looking for a full-time educator with a Certificate III or Diploma qualification. The centre follows a slow pedagogy approach that values relationships, intentional teaching and letting children learn at their own pace.

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education, approved by ACECQA.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a trained educator in an early childhood service.
• Passion for children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Ability to collaborate with others and contribute to a strong team culture.
• Confident, warm and creative communicator with children, families and colleagues.

Required skills

• Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, National Law and National Regulations.
• Current NSW Working With Children Check.
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Completion of a Prohibition Declaration as part of the recruitment process.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or valid Australian work rights.
