Early Childhood Educator - Apprentice or Qualified (Montessori)

About the role

Blackstone (Ipswich), part of Building Futures Montessori, is looking for Early Childhood Educators to join its Montessori childcare team. No Montessori experience is required; all educators are supported to complete Montessori qualifications alongside their ECEC qualifications through the affiliated training college MECTA, with funding available for eligible trainees and apprentices. The role is full-time or part-time, with shifts rostered between 6:15am and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Required profile

• Apprentices: candidates must already hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121 or CHC30113).
• Diploma Qualified Educators: candidates who wish to gain Montessori qualifications and move into senior roles.
• Willingness to enrol in and complete ECEC and/or Montessori Early Childhood Education qualifications at Diploma level (if not already held).
• Flexibility to work rostered hours from open to close, Monday to Friday.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and learning, and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Hold or be eligible to apply for a valid paid Blue Card (WWC); restricted persons need not apply.
