Duty Manager - Mad Mex, Sydney Domestic Airport

About the role

Cater Care is looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Duty Manager to join its Mad Mex team at Sydney Domestic Airport. The role suits someone with hospitality, retail or kitchen experience who wants to take the next step in their leadership journey. It is a permanent, full-time position of 38 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the team throughout each shift
• Help coordinate smooth and efficient daily restaurant operations
• Deliver consistently high standards of customer service
• Support food preparation, kitchen operations and bulk cooking
• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation
• Support team training and development
• Manage competing priorities across customer service, kitchen and retail operations
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive team environment

Required profile

• Experience in retail, hospitality and/or kitchen operations and key-holder duties
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work independently
• Availability from 5.00am starts
• A genuine interest in developing leadership skills and progressing your career

Required skills

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• RSA and Food Safety Supervisor qualifications
