Drill Rig Operator - Ongoing, Wacol (Various Sites)

About the role

Ezyquip Hire is looking for a Drill Rig Operator to work on EQH and client sites around Wacol, with various sites. The operator runs plant and equipment safely and efficiently, carries out routine pre-start checks and maintenance, keeps the plant in good condition, and acts with integrity and communicates professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Appropriate plant operating tickets for the site
• Current Construction Industry Blue or White Card
• Current driver's licence, minimum C class (manual)
• FKG corporate induction (module 1), FKG site induction (module 2), FKG manual handling, vehicle management and site-specific inductions where applicable
• Extensive experience in plant operation and civil works, including lo-drill and Soilmec, cast-in-place piles and bridge building
• Good communication skills, pride in work, commitment to safety and basic maintenance skills

Desirable

• Vocational qualification in civil construction (e.g. Certificate III Civil Construction - Plant)
• HR class driver's licence and current first aid certificate
• Workplace health and safety qualifications
• Santos Level 1 and Eastern Queensland, Origin Energy contractor and electrical industry inductions
• 4WD driver competency, experience with sheet piling and previous work on dams, subdivisions and substations
