Domestic Assistant – City Beach and surrounds

About the role

Silverchain is recruiting experienced Domestic Assistants to support clients in maintaining their independence through domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support. The role is casual with ongoing regular shifts, and a permanent position may be available after three months depending on performance and business needs. Candidates must live in the listed suburbs of North WA.

Key responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs.
• Provide social support and help clients stay engaged in their community.
• Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients' homes.
• Access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently using a mobile app.

Required profile

• 3-6 months of domestic or industrial cleaning experience.
• Valid driver's licence and unrestricted access to a registered, properly insured and in good condition vehicle.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Casual rate of $43.03 including 25% loading and superannuation.
