Document Controller – Water Infrastructure

About the role

ACCIONA is delivering the Prospect Pre‑Treatment Plant Project, a critical water‑treatment infrastructure for Sydney. As a Document Controller you will support engineers, designers and drafters by maintaining robust document‑management practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update document registers and numbering schemas.
• Apply consistent version control to all project documents.
• Issue documentation to internal and external stakeholders promptly.
• Manage metadata, permissions and file structures within CDE platforms.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, procedures and workflow documentation.
• Provide training and guidance on document‑management processes.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in document control.
• Strong understanding of document‑control standards and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Common Data Environment (CDE) systems.
• Ability to write clear procedures and work instructions.
