Document Controller - Marsden Park

About the role

Built, a privately owned construction company operating across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, is recruiting a Document Controller for its Marsden Park project in Sydney. You will work closely with the Design Management team, the Senior Contract Administrator and the Senior Project Manager to implement document control and design change management protocols, help with subcontract and head contract administration, and manage practical completion documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Quality assurance: assist design and delivery teams in submitting and approving samples, maintain registers and collate materials
• Subcontractor documentation: help manage subcontractor document control, claims and payments
• Design: manage and distribute design documentation, check weekly, follow up on updated drawings and handover forms
• Programming: keep programs up to date for subcontractors, submit cost reports and project reports on time
• Commercial: assist with subcontractor payments and creditor invoices, and ensure delivery, labour and day dockets are completed

Required profile

• Related work experience in a similar role on major projects
• Experience within the Sydney construction industry
• Diploma or higher qualification in Business Administration or another relevant field
• Longevity with past employers and strong references

Required skills

• Highly proficient in Aconex and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong written and verbal communication, organisation and attention to detail
