Diving & Hyperbaric Technician (Full‑time, Permanent)

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is based in Caringbah, NSW and supports Australia’s defence diving systems. The role focuses on the service and maintenance of hyperbaric equipment and military rebreathers, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Disassemble, test and reassemble commercial and defence diving equipment.
• Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing of hyperbaric systems.
• Carry out planned and corrective maintenance on life‑support equipment.
• Complete and maintain service documentation, drawings and work instructions.

Required profile

• Mechanical trade qualification (desired).
• Experience servicing hyperbaric systems, breathing apparatus, or aviation/marine safety equipment (desirable but not essential).
• Computer literate with basic MS Office skills.
• Ability to obtain security access to Australian Defence establishments, including police and required security clearances.
