Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Advisor

About the role

A values-driven organisation in Melbourne is looking for an experienced Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Advisor to drive inclusion initiatives, give expert advice and work with leaders to embed inclusive practices. This is a full-time, 6-month engagement starting as soon as possible, based in Melbourne CBD, with flexible hybrid working (2-3 days from home per week).

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and programs.
• Advise on inclusion, accessibility and workplace equity initiatives.
• Partner with leaders and stakeholders to drive inclusive practices.
• Deliver training, workshops and awareness programs.
• Analyse workforce data and prepare reports and recommendations.
• Support compliance with relevant workplace and equal opportunity legislation.

Required profile

• Experience in DEI, HR, Organisational Development or a related advisory role.
• Knowledge of state government legislation is desirable.
• Strong understanding of diversity and inclusion frameworks and legislation.
• Experience delivering training and facilitating workshops.
• Ability to analyse data and give evidence-based recommendations.
