About the role
Tyndale Christian School is looking for a Diverse Learning Teacher (replacement) based in Strathalbyn, working 0.5 FTE from 18 January 2027 to 25 June 2027. The teacher leads learning for students with high learning needs, intellectual impairment, multiple disabilities and/or complex communication needs, in the school's primary (The Nest) and secondary (Life Skills) diverse learning programs.
Key responsibilities
- Teach students in the primary program, focusing on literacy and numeracy in The Nest.
- Teach students in the secondary program, covering a broader range of life skills in Life Skills.
- Create an inclusive, supportive and dynamic learning environment for students with high learning needs.
Required profile
- Sincere commitment to Jesus Christ, a philosophy of Christian education and regular church attendance.
- Nurturing and empathetic approach to students with complex needs.
