Distribution Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Viscount, an Australian supplier of sustainable supply chain solutions, is looking for an experienced Distribution Warehouse Supervisor to manage and coordinate its warehouse, inventory and distribution operations. The role ensures efficient stock control, timely dispatch and continuous operational improvement. It is a full-time, ongoing position of up to 45 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and oversee warehouse, storage and distribution operations to meet customer requirements and operational targets.
• Develop and implement stock control, dispatch and distribution procedures to improve efficiency and minimise costs.
• Manage inventory levels and stock movements using SAP, keeping records accurate and ensuring timely replenishment.
• Coordinate goods receipting, storage, order fulfilment and transportation schedules with production teams and logistics providers.
• Direct and manage a team, including task allocation, performance monitoring and staff training.
• Monitor distribution performance, identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, quality standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain management, business or a related field, and/or substantial relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing warehouse, inventory and distribution operations.
• Strong leadership, planning and operational coordination skills.
• Sound knowledge of stock control, logistics processes and WHS requirements.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP or similar inventory management systems.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and organisational skills.
