Dispensary Technician (Dose Administration Packing Assistant)

About the role

TerryWhite Chemmart Buderim is looking for a caring, organised and detail-oriented Dose Administration Packing Assistant / Dispensary Technician. Working closely with pharmacists and the Dose Administration Aid team, you will help ensure patients receive safe and effective medication management. Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities are available.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and pack Dose Administration Aids (blister packs and sachets) accurately
• Support pharmacists with medication management services
• Process prescriptions and assist with dispensary operations
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and quality assurance standards
• Manage dispensary stock and order supplies as required
• Handle general dispensary and administrative duties and deliver good service to patients, carers and healthcare providers

Required profile

• Ideally previous experience in a pharmacy dispensary environment
• Experience with dose administration packing (blister and sachet) highly regarded
• Attention to detail, strong organisation and time management
• Able to work independently and contribute positively to a team
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude

Required skills

• Preferred: experience using pharmacy dispensing software
