Intern Pharmacist 2027 - Sunshine Coast

About the role

TerryWhite Chemmart is seeking two Intern Pharmacists to complete their internship year at its Buderim and Parklands pharmacies on the Sunshine Coast. The positions sit within a supportive, high-performing pharmacy team and offer hands-on experience across community pharmacy practice, mentored by experienced pharmacists, network leaders and the Business Development Manager. Interns also take part in the free 2027 TerryWhite Chemmart Masterclass Intern Program.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
• Learn QScript, Professional Practice Standards and QSPP requirements, and support stock management, expiry checks and dispensary compliance
• Help with generic conversions, script-on-file initiatives and simple compounding, and observe medication reviews and staged supply services
• Provide friendly customer service, answer health and medication enquiries and promote CareClinic, myTWC and Rewards programs
• Complete the Masterclass Intern Program, monthly learning milestones and workplace training, and keep up with pharmaceutical knowledge

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and eligibility to start internship training
• Current Intern Pharmacist registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA
• Right to live and work in Australia; AHPRA registration requirements must be met before starting
• Attention to detail, strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward patient care
