Dispatch Officer – Mining Fleet Management

About the role

Join the production team at Rolleston Open Cut as a Dispatch Officer, reporting to the Fleet Management Supervisor. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating mining equipment to meet daily production targets while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Production Supervisors and Coordinators to optimise equipment allocation.
• Continuously monitor the mining fleet and provide real‑time data to operations.
• Liaise with Production, Technical Services and Maintenance to collect, validate and report production statistics.
• Oversee radio communications, geological radar, operator awareness and high‑precision equipment systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating large mining equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with fleet management software such as Dispatch 6, ProVision 3 or Terrain.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
• Understanding of risk management, safe work procedures and relevant mining qualifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
