Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator - Driver Support

About the role

Nationwide Group, a provider of roadside assistance, accident management and transport solutions, is hiring a Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator in its customer service dispatch centre in Noble Park. You will work alongside Dispatchers to keep drivers and Tow Truck Operators moving, keep customers informed and ensure jobs progress safely. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available on a rotating roster.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to inbound and outbound calls and messages from drivers and Tow Truck Operators
• Monitor jobs as they progress and coordinate accurate ETA information
• Keep customers informed when delays occur and provide realistic updates
• Troubleshoot job, payment, pricing and system issues that may prevent a job from being completed
• Keep job records, booking information and notes accurate and up to date
• Support Dispatchers with outstanding jobs, driver information and changing operational priorities
• Work closely with drivers, customers and operational teams to solve issues as they happen

Required profile

• Ideally, experience in a customer service or contact centre environment
• Desirable: experience in dispatch, fleet support, logistics, roadside operations and transport
• Calm, direct and respectful communication style
• Ability to build strong working relationships with drivers, customers and operational teams
• Right to work in Australia and willingness to undergo a criminal history check

• Strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
• Confidence navigating multiple screens and systems while maintaining accuracy
• Out of the box thinking under pressure
