Disability Support Worker - Rockhampton

About the role

CPL is looking for casual and permanent part-time Support Workers in Rockhampton and surrounding suburbs. You will support people to live independently and do the things that matter to them, whether you have done this before or are new to the field.

Key responsibilities

• Personal care such as showering, dressing and toileting
• Helping with meals, cleaning and daily tasks
• Supporting someone to get out into the community and attend appointments or social activities
• Medication support
• Assisting with mobility, including hoists where required

Required profile

• A passion for people and a focus on great customer service
• Commitment to working together to deliver great outcomes
• Great listening and respectful communication skills
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them
• Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (the employer can help you get these)
• Driver's licence and/or reliable transport
