Disability Support Worker (Casual) - AIN Qualified?

About the role

Prospect Hill is recruiting a kind, dedicated and compassionate Support Worker for its SIL homes in Bohle Plains, Kirwan, Mount Low, Mount Louisa and Oonoonba. The role empowers people with disabilities to live independent, joyful and meaningful lives, and offers flexible casual shifts including day, sleepover, weekend and overnight options.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and keeping a safe home environment
• Support community access, social activities and appointments
• Offer emotional and behavioural support
• Work collaboratively with a team of support staff

Required profile

• Certificate III (or higher) in Disability; AIN (Assistant in Nursing) qualification highly desirable
• At least 12 months' experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Full Australian working rights
