Director/Teacher - Play-Based Kindergarten

About the role

Campbelltown Kindergarten (C&K) Oonoonba Community Kindergarten is looking for a Director/Teacher to lead a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and the wider community. The position is permanent part-time, starting 14 January 2027, with a 5-day fortnight of 7.5 hours on Thursdays and Fridays plus alternate Wednesdays.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the play-based kindergarten program so that children feel safe, included, connected and inspired to learn.
• Create a culture where everyone can belong, grow and thrive.
• Work within a team of experienced educators who value strong family partnerships and collaboration.

Required profile

• An ACECQA-approved Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
• Completed National Child Safety Training Foundation and Advanced Certificates (Courses 1-5).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card and a current Police Check.
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline.
• A passion for positive outcomes for children, families and the community and a collaborative, team-player mindset.
