Director, Transformation Program Management (Energy, Mining & Utilities)

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Director to lead high‑impact transformation programmes for clients in the Energy, Mining and Utilities sectors. You will partner with senior executives to design and execute strategies that drive operational excellence, agility and measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex transformation initiatives, including digital, operational and technology programmes.
• Oversee end‑to‑end programme delivery, ensuring projects are on time, within scope and on budget while managing cross‑functional teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the sector.
• Drive consulting sales by identifying new opportunities, developing proposals and maintaining a robust pipeline.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale transformation programmes, preferably in Energy, Mining or Utilities.
• Strong understanding of industry trends, challenges and opportunities.
• Expertise in programme and project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Management or related fields; MBA or equivalent highly regarded.
