Director of People & Reward (APAC)

About the role

Codan is seeking a senior HR leader to head People & Reward across the APAC region. Reporting to the CHRO, you will shape remuneration strategy, drive workforce capability and partner with business leaders to support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the APAC HR team to deliver strategic people outcomes.
• Partner with business units on workforce planning, leadership development, performance, talent and succession.
• Transition HR from transactional service to strategic workforce partnering.
• Design, maintain and govern global remuneration frameworks, salary structures, pay bands and market benchmarking.
• Ensure pay equity, remuneration governance and future‑state reward programs align with business objectives.
• Contribute to Codan’s HR transformation agenda as a member of the senior leadership team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in senior HR leadership, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing compensation and reward strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior leadership.
• Ability to lead and coach regional HR teams.
