Director of People and Culture

About the role

East Wimmera Health Service (EWHS), a provider of integrated healthcare across five campuses in North West Victoria, is recruiting a Director of People and Culture. Reporting to the CEO, the Director provides strategic leadership and oversight of the people, culture and corporate support functions, including Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Payroll, Occupational Health and Safety, Return to Work, Diversity and Inclusion, Communications and Marketing, and Executive Assistant services. The role develops and implements strategies that support the service's strategic and quality objectives and builds a positive, engaged workforce.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably at postgraduate level, in human resources, business, law or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in change management, WHS, mediation, coaching, employment law and analytics.
• Experienced HR professional with a proven capability in strategic workforce planning.
• Ability to turn organisational objectives into people and culture strategies that drive performance, inclusion and staff engagement.
