Director of Agribusiness – Statewide (Australia)

About the role

Opteon is seeking experienced agribusiness valuation leaders to head regional teams across Australia. As a Director of Agribusiness you will guide a group of valuers, drive operational performance and embed a culture of continuous improvement during a period of rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Certified Practicing Valuers specialising in agribusiness.
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as turnaround times, quality, quoting, financial outcomes and work‑in‑progress.
• Implement organisational change initiatives and ensure consistent application of processes.
• Identify improvement opportunities and execute performance‑enhancement strategies.
• Maintain strong communication and alignment across the regional team and corporate leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Certified Practicing Valuer.
• At least 5 years specialising in agribusiness valuations.
• Proven experience as a panel valuer or in a comparable industry role.
• Associate membership with the Australian Property Institute.
