Director, Network Management

About the role

The Director, Network Management will lead the growth and commercialization of Mastercard’s receiving network across the Oceania region. Reporting on network performance, the role focuses on expanding payout capabilities, strengthening relationships with receiving service providers, banks and fintech partners, and ensuring best‑in‑class coverage, pricing, speed and customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional network commercialization strategies for key remittance corridors.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate and onboard new Receiving Service Providers, banks, fintechs, wallet providers and payment institutions.
• Expand payout coverage across bank account deposit, mobile wallet and push‑to‑card solutions.
• Build and manage a pipeline of network expansion opportunities and drive activation to increase transaction volumes and revenue.
• Own strategic relationships with existing partners, conduct regular business reviews and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Serve as primary escalation point for strategic partner issues and commercial discussions.
• Collaborate with banks and issuers to activate TC28 and other capabilities supporting push‑to‑card services.
• Partner with RSPs to improve operational efficiency, transaction success rates and overall service quality.

Required profile

• Significant experience in network commercialization, payments or remittance services.
• Proven track record of building and managing partner ecosystems in the financial services sector.
• Strong negotiation and commercial agreement skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on driving growth and operational efficiency.
