Director – Executive Search

About the role

KordaMentha Executive Search is expanding its practice and seeks a Director to lead retained executive search assignments. This senior position will shape client engagements, drive business development, and ensure high‑quality search outcomes for C‑suite appointments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead retained executive search projects from brief development through to successful appointment.
• Originate and convert new business opportunities using market intelligence, client relationships and referral networks.
• Advise clients on role design, market positioning, candidate attraction, assessment and appointment recommendations.
• Build trusted relationships with senior clients, candidates, industry leaders and referral partners.
• Oversee market mapping, research, candidate engagement and shortlisting to deliver rigorous, defensible outcomes.
• Contribute to brand growth through market engagement, client advocacy and thought leadership.
• Collaborate across KordaMentha to deliver strategic, commercial and client‑focused results.

Required profile

• At least 8 years’ experience in executive search or a closely aligned industry.
• Proven track record delivering C‑suite appointments.
• Strong commercial confidence and trusted advisory capability.
• Commitment to exceptional outcomes for clients, candidates and colleagues.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence decision‑making.
