Digital Strategy Executive

About the role

Seven Media Group (SMG), a leading Australian media company with television, audio, publishing and digital businesses, is looking for a Digital Strategy Executive to join its Seven Sales team in Sydney. You will help shape and deliver commercial opportunities across 7NEWS.com.au, 7You and The Nightly by building sales collateral, campaign propositions and reporting that keeps clients coming back.

Key responsibilities

• Create sales collateral, packages and go-to-market materials with the commercial product team for proactive revenue opportunities
• Use the 7NEWS and 7You editorial calendars to build commercial propositions around events such as the Logies, Australian Fashion Week, Black Friday and spring racing
• Work with editorial leaders to identify content franchises, themes and audience moments that can be commercialised
• Equip sales and partnerships teams with audience insights, product information, case studies, pricing structures and campaign examples
• Support delivery and post-campaign reporting, working with internal stakeholders and the retained reporting partner so results are accurate and timely
• Turn campaign results into case studies and insights that support repeat business and improve future products, proposals, pricing and delivery

Required profile

• 2+ years' experience in a commercial, sales support or partnership role within digital media, publishing or broadcast
• Experience creating sales collateral, proposals or campaign materials
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to turn data and campaign results into clear, persuasive reporting
• Proactive, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
• Great communication and stakeholder skills across editorial, sales and product teams
• A curious, ideas-driven approach to spotting commercial opportunities in content and cultural moments
