Digital & Data Marketing Manager

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Digital & Data Marketing Manager to own the performance‑marketing engine for Sydney Kings, Sydney Flames and Hoops Academy. Working within a small, agile team and reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will connect digital activity to ticket sales, membership growth and overall revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise paid search and social campaign strategy.
• Own the CRM strategy during the transition to HubSpot.
• Oversee SEO, website performance, digital reporting and attribution.
• Provide data and insights support to ticketing, membership and commercial teams.
• Lead a Digital Marketing Specialist in day‑to‑day execution.
• Collaborate with the broader sports operations team during the September‑April season, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in paid media, CRM and digital performance (agency or in‑house).
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in events, entertainment or services where selling an experience is key.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, live‑sports environment and thriving in a small team.
