Digital Channels Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Digital Channels Assurance Specialist provides independent first‑line assurance for ANZ’s Digital Trust, Identity and Onboarding value stream. Working across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, the role helps ensure that customer, regulatory, operational and risk obligations are effectively managed while supporting key transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide independent, high‑quality assurance and challenge across Digital Trust, Identity, Verification, Authentication and Onboarding initiatives.
• Review and advise on risk for major change programmes such as the Single Customer Front End (SCFE) transformation.
• Assess control design, identify gaps, emerging risks, threat exposure and improvement opportunities.
• Deliver evidence‑based findings, recommendations and practical insights to stakeholders.
• Monitor issue remediation and support enhancements to customer, regulatory and security outcomes.
• Engage early with business and technology proposals to provide preliminary risk views and watchpoints.
• Build and lead trusted relationships across Digital, Technology, Risk and Compliance teams.
