Digital Account Manager / Senior Account Manager (Paid Media)

About the role

An expanding media agency in Melbourne is looking for a Digital Account Manager or newly appointed Digital Senior Account Manager to join its Performance Media team during a period of strong growth. The role leads and manages a small team of juniors and supports the Performance Director, with a salary range of $90k-$110k.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and manage a small team of juniors while supporting the Performance Director
• Implement the strategic vision for the paid media department
• Develop and implement the planning, quality assurance and processes for the team
• Create digitally-led, performance-driven solutions
• Work directly with clients and champion the Performance team's delivery of all paid media work
• Contribute to strategic client decisions and be accountable for the performance, growth and success of the juniors

Required profile

• At least 4+ years of paid media experience
• Recent agency experience is desirable
• Live in Melbourne and hold full working rights
• Proven management experience

Required skills

• In-depth understanding of the local digital media ecosystem, including publishers, platforms and technology players
• Excellent client relationship management and stakeholder management
• Ability to turn client briefs into a digital marketing plan
• Strong verbal, written and communication skills, and critical thinking and problem solving
