DevOps Engineer – Cloud Native Integration

About the role

Boeing is seeking DevOps Engineers to support the Australian Signals Directorate, designing and automating integration pipelines for secure, resilient services in a national intelligence environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and automate integration pipelines connecting microservices, APIs and legacy systems across environments.
• Develop CI/CD processes using tools such as FluxCD, ArgoCD or GitLab CI/CD and manage deployments on Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain API management, service mesh, message broker and middleware components.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve runtime integration performance and reliability.
• Analyse and mitigate security risks related to integration points and DevOps processes.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a Positive Vetting security clearance.
• Bachelor degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience with cloud‑native technologies and DevOps practices.

Required skills

• Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm, Kustomize or similar)
• CI/CD pipeline development (FluxCD, ArgoCD, GitLab CI/CD)
• Microservices, APIs, service mesh, message broker, middleware
• Container orchestration and automated testing
• Knowledge of LLM concepts
