Developer Automation Tester

About the role

Accenture is looking for a proactive, independent Developer Automation Tester with a strong C#/.NET background to join its Canberra team on Digital Identity Services projects. The role focuses on ensuring the highest quality, security and architectural compliance of applications, and requires Australian citizenship with an active security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automation frameworks using C# and Selenium WebDriver for UI testing across multiple browsers
• Build BDD tests with SpecFlow and implement data-driven testing
• Run API backend tests with RestSharp and Postman
• Develop and support applications with .NET C# and Angular
• Assess solutions against the ATO's enterprise architecture standards and deliver components independently
• Take part in the full development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, pair programming, code reviews and documentation
• Resolve incidents, follow change control and release management, and sign off test completion with the TCM
• Contribute to technical documentation and recommend improvements to tools and technologies

Required profile

• Australian citizenship with active security clearance
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and C#
• Experience with .NET C#, Angular, API testing (RestSharp, Postman), HTTP, REST APIs and microservices
• Application security and identity management experience, preferably with OpenID and JWTs
• Good knowledge of T-SQL and Node.js, and SOLID principles
• Git, work item tracking and Agile/Scrum; DevOps and CI/CD (Azure DevOps and PowerShell) are a bonus
