Despatch Clerk – Full‑Time (Salisbury)

About the role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Despatch Clerk to join our warehouse team in Salisbury. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be at the centre of warehouse communication, coordinating distribution activities and delivering high‑level customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily distribution and delivery schedules, liaising with carriers and courier services.
• Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries, providing consistent, high‑quality service.
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation, file and distribute paperwork, and verify transport/freight invoices.
• Coordinate proof‑of‑delivery processes, monitor stationery and consumables, and assist drivers with freight documentation.
• Support reverse logistics by processing customer returns, tyre credits, and warranty inspections.
• Assist with monthly stocktakes and coordinate delivery of OE fitment stock (tyres/rims).

Required profile

• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with carriers, drivers and internal teams.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not essential.
