Designer (multidisciplinary)

About the role

Brand Gold Coast is seeking a creative, multidisciplinary designer to support the Manager of Digital Storytelling. The role is in‑house and involves developing visual solutions across digital, print, and experiential media to bring the city’s story to life.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage a variety of digital and printed assets.
• Collaborate on creative concepts for digital, print, and experience design.
• Take ideas from concept through to final production.
• Help evolve and maintain the Brand Gold Coast visual identity across all touchpoints.
• Stay curious about emerging design tools and technologies, including AI where it adds value.
• Pitch in wherever needed within a small, collaborative team.

Required profile

• Strong design fundamentals with a broad creative interest.
• Experience in studio, agency, or in‑house environments.
• Portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and excellent design execution.
• Collaborative, adaptable, ego‑free attitude.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to keep learning.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficiency with Figma.
• Motion graphics capabilities.
• Strong typography, layout, and visual communication skills.
• Illustration, photography, video, or 3D skills (bonus).
