Designer - AI and Visualization

About the role

City Collective is seeking a Designer specialized in AI and Visualization to join a multidisciplinary team shaping the future of architecture, urban design, and creative technology. You will work closely with senior principals to explore how artificial intelligence can transform design communication and visual storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI‑generated imagery, concept visualisations, animations, and cinematic storytelling content for architecture and urban projects.
• Experiment with emerging AI creative workflows, tools, and technologies to enhance studio output.
• Translate early‑stage ideas and narratives into compelling visual experiences that convey design intent with clarity and emotion.
• Create presentations, diagrams, videos, and digital content that elevate project narratives across all phases.
• Support pursuits, competitions, thought‑leadership, and marketing initiatives through innovative visual communication.
• Identify and implement studio‑wide standards, best practices, and experimentation frameworks for AI‑assisted design.
• Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders and self‑manage tasks from ideation to delivery.

Required profile

• Strong visual communication skills and ability to translate complex concepts into clear visuals.
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with designers, planners, architects, and leadership.
• Self‑motivated, able to manage creative workflows independently.
