Design Manager – Hospitality Venues

About the role

Signature Hospitality Group is looking for a Design Manager to lead the creation of vibrant hospitality spaces across its brands, including The Sporting Globe, TGI Fridays and Varsity. Based in the Southbank Support Office, you will take venues from concept through construction, ensuring each space reflects brand personality while meeting budget and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead venue design from initial concept to detailed documentation, producing high‑quality drawings, 3D models, renders and presentations.
• Select and specify on‑brand materials, finishes, lighting and FF&E that are durable, functional and easy to maintain.
• Review design documentation and conduct site visits to verify construction aligns with brand standards and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with Property, Construction, Operations, Marketing, consultants, contractors and suppliers to deliver cohesive venues.
• Develop environmental branding, graphics and signage, and mentor junior team members within a creative studio culture.

Required profile

• 6+ years of progressive design experience in hospitality, architectural or experiential design.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Strong capabilities in concepting, ideation, colour theory, typography and spatial design.
• Proven ability to manage ambiguity, juggle multiple projects and collaborate effectively throughout the creative process.
• Excellent communication skills and a current driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit/Autodesk.
• Advanced use of Adobe Suite.
• Experience with Enscape or similar rendering software.
