Design Engineer – Structures

About the role

Join WSP's Building Structures group to work on iconic, high‑rise and complex building projects across Australia. You will collaborate within a multi‑disciplinary engineering team to deliver structural solutions that meet technical, commercial and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structural engineering designs for commercial, retail, defence, health and education projects.
• Support national teams and ensure timely, quality delivery aligned with schedules and budgets.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement of workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• 2‑5 years of experience on Australian building projects.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and Codes (AS, NCC).

Required skills

• All‑round structural engineering design, including post‑tensioned concrete.
• Proficiency with BIM and 3D modelling delivery methods.
• Familiarity with point‑cloud surveys (highly regarded).
