Dermatologist – Full‑time Clinical Role

About the role

Darwin Dermatology is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Dermatologist to join its multidisciplinary team in Darwin, NT. You will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of a wide range of dermatologic conditions for patients referred by GPs and specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, dermatoscopic examinations and chronic disease management.
• Perform skin biopsies, excisions of skin cancers and other minor surgical procedures.
• Supervise phototherapy using a Daavlin 3 Series Narrowband UVB machine and advanced nanofractional radiofrequency treatments.
• Collaborate with referring practitioners, deliver patient education and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical protocols and patient‑care pathways.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialist qualification in Dermatology (Australia, New Zealand, UK or Ireland).
• Current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant medical board.
• Strong clinical foundation in diagnosing and managing inflammatory, infectious, paediatric and malignant skin diseases.
• Experience in acne management, skin‑cancer detection and dermatologic surgery.
• Commitment to clinical governance, CPD and evidence‑based practice.
