Dental Specialist - Paediatric Dentistry (Permanent Part-Time)

About the role

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Dental Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry to join its team at Sydney Dental Hospital. The role provides specialist paediatric dental services, including clinical work according to Ministry of Health protocols and referral guidelines, and takes part in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities. It is a permanent part-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist paediatric dental services at Sydney Dental Hospital and Oral Health Services
• Deliver clinical services in line with MoH List Management protocols and Specialist Referral Guidelines
• Take part in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities
• Maintain a high standard of professional performance and encourage an academic environment supporting education, research and professional development

Required profile

• Current registered dental practitioner
• Registered or eligible for registration with AHPRA as a Dental Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry
• Recognised qualifications in Paediatric Dentistry or equivalent specialist recognition under the NSW Health Employees Dental Officers (STATE) Award
