Dental Receptionist

About the role

Maven Dental Subiaco, an established practice on Rokeby Road offering general, restorative and implant dentistry and Invisalign, is looking for an experienced full-time Dental Receptionist. You will be the first point of contact for patients and help coordinate appointments and enquiries with the dentists, oral health therapist, Practice Manager and dental assisting team.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients and provide friendly, professional service
• Manage appointments, the appointment book and patient scheduling
• Handle patient enquiries in person, by phone and through other channels
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality
• Coordinate with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow
• Discuss treatment appointments and assist patients with treatment enquiries
• Support administrative tasks such as patient payments and transaction processing
• Assist with recalls, confirmations and follow-up appointments
• Keep the reception and waiting area organised and welcoming

Required profile

• Previous reception experience is essential, preferably in dental or healthcare
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Professional, friendly and patient-focused approach
• Attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative attitude

Required skills

• Confidence using computer systems and dental practice management software
• Ability to maintain accurate records
