About the role
Verdant Dental is looking for a full‑time Dental Assistant Trainee to join their close‑knit team in Niddrie, Victoria. This role is ideal for school leavers or individuals beginning a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, offering hands‑on training across all aspects of dental practice.
Key responsibilities
- Reception duties including scheduling appointments and greeting clients
- Processing HICAPS and EFTPOS payments
- Preparing patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Chair‑side assisting and maintaining sterilisation and infection control standards
- Managing stock levels and placing orders for supplies
Required profile
- Friendly, reliable and punctual with a mature work approach
- Eager to learn, able to follow instruction and work as part of a team
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Australian citizen, permanent resident or holder of full working rights
