Dental Assistant – Subiaco

About the role

Maven Dental Subiaco, an established practice on Rokeby Road offering general, restorative, implant and Invisalign care, is hiring two experienced full-time Dental Assistants. This is a hands-on chairside role in a varied clinical environment, including surgical procedures, and suits someone who wants to build on general dentistry experience. You will work closely with the dentists, oral health therapist, Practice Manager and front office team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance for general, restorative and preventive treatments
• Assist with implant placements, extractions and other surgical procedures
• Take scans and clinical photographs for Invisalign treatment
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments according to infection control standards
• Keep anxious patients comfortable and informed
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and chart in Dental4Windows (D4W)
• Help with stock control and ordering
• Support treatment discussions when required

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and/or a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or higher)
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilisation protocols
• Calm, reassuring manner with nervous patients and clear, professional communication
• Attention to detail and organisation

Required skills

• Experience with Dental4Windows or other dental software systems
