Dental Assistant – Part Time

About the role

All Saints Dental, a Bupa dental practice in Rockingham with four treatment chairs, is hiring a part-time Dental Assistant (36.75 hours per week). The role supports the delivery of safe, high-quality dental care and positive patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with clinical procedures
• Maintain infection control standards
• Ensure equipment is properly sterilised
• Keep treatment rooms clean, organised and ready for patient care

Required profile

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting highly regarded
• Minimum 12 months of dental assistance experience
• Warm, patient-focused approach and excellent communication skills
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume practice and contribute to a supportive team

Required skills

• Chair-side assistance: instrument handling, suction, mixing materials, assisting with X-rays and dental instrumentation
• Infection control and cleaning, preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, instruments and equipment in line with BDC procedures and WHS requirements
