About the role

National Dental Care is looking for a dynamic, experienced and highly‑organised Dental Assistant to join its busy Mount Isa practice. You will provide high‑quality clinical and administrative assistance to clinicians while engaging with patients in a professional manner.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and administrative support to dental clinicians during patient treatment.
• Interact with patients positively, ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout appointments.

Required profile

• Highly professional appearance and polished personal presentation.
• Excellent written and oral communication with strong attention to detail.
• Extremely organised, able to prioritise busy workloads and manage multiple demands.
• Reliable, punctual and possessing a strong work ethic.

Required skills

• Experience as a Dental Assistant (preferred).
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and general computer literacy.
• Familiarity with Dental 4 Windows (D4W) software – desirable.
• Good knowledge of infection control – desirable.
