Demand Planner - FMCG

About the role

A global FMCG business is hiring a Demand Planner based in Sydney. The role is described as highly flexible, with three days of work from home, and involves developing and maintaining demand plans to support stock availability and supply planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand plans to support stock availability and supply planning.
• Review demand information and update forecasts to guide procurement and supply chain decisions.
• Monitor customer orders and coordinate order processing to support timely fulfilment.
• Respond to customer enquiries and give clear updates on orders, products and delivery status.
• Work with internal teams to resolve order issues and keep customer information accurate.
• Track product demand and order trends to spot planning changes that may affect supply.
• Maintain demand planning and customer service records and contribute to practical improvements across demand planning, order management and customer service.

Required profile

• Experience in demand planning, forecasting or supply planning activities.
• Experience managing customer orders and responding to customer enquiries.
• Ability to review demand information and keep planning records accurate.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams on order and supply matters.
• Experience keeping customer, order and product information accurate.
• Ability to communicate clear order and delivery updates to customers.

Required skills

• Advanced Planning Systems such as SAP APO or Kinaxus.
