Dell Boomi Integration Consultant (Contract)

About the role

Hastha Solutions has an urgent requirement for a Dell Boomi Integration Consultant on a 6-month contract in Melbourne, with possible extension. The consultant leads the design, development, testing, deployment and support of enterprise integration solutions on the Boomi Integration Platform, working with business analysts, architects, application and infrastructure teams and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment and support of Boomi integration solutions, including complex processes, APIs, connectors, mappings, workflows and reusable components.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure and supportable solutions, and provide technical leadership across project delivery.
• Conduct technical design and code reviews, and take part in solution and architecture discussions to recommend improvements to integration patterns and platform strategy.
• Understand Boomi Runtimes, Runtime Clusters, Runtime Clouds and Boomi-hosted Managed Cloud Services (MCS), and support their design, deployment, maintenance and lifecycle management, including AKS-hosted Runtime Clusters where applicable.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across runtimes, MCS, AKS, APIs, certificates and credentials, and manage platform configuration, environment extensions and connectivity.
• Monitor platform utilisation and capacity and recommend improvements.
• Define and enforce Boomi development standards, naming conventions, reusable patterns and security standards; establish reusable components and common patterns.
• Ensure integrations follow SDLC, change management, release management and deployment processes, and manage integration releases and production deployments.
• Maintain technical designs, interface specifications, process flows, configurations and operational runbooks, and ensure compliance with security, compliance, audit and data governance requirements.
• Mentor Boomi developers and integration team members, review deliverables, support knowledge transfer and identify ways to improve reliability, maintainability, performance, automation and efficiency.
• Stay current with Boomi releases, roadmap and integration trends and recommend adoption where appropriate.
