Delivery Driver (Refrigerated Vehicle)

About the role

Ribs and Roast is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to operate a refrigerated vehicle and deliver chilled meat products across Sydney and surrounding areas. This full‑time, early‑start position requires punctuality, strong organisational skills and a commitment to food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a refrigerated delivery vehicle and maintain the cold chain.
• Deliver chilled meat products to customers according to scheduled routes.
• Load and unload goods, handling refrigerated items with care.
• Complete delivery paperwork and obtain proof of delivery.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean, presentable and compliant with food safety standards.
• Follow road rules, Chain of Responsibility requirements and company policies.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding delivery schedules or issues.
• Assist with warehouse duties, order picking or other operational tasks after deliveries.

Required profile

• Current Australian driver’s licence (HR licence advantageous but not essential).
• Clean driving record.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work Monday‑Friday, 7 am start.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Capability to manually handle and lift up to 20‑25 kg.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional presentation.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
