Deals Management Consultant – Advisory

About the role

As a Deals Advisor at PwC Australia, you will help clients create, realise, and protect value across mergers, acquisitions, restructurings and strategic alliances. You will work across a range of sectors, providing commercial and technical insight throughout the entire deal lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and address each client’s unique needs as a trusted advisor.
• Provide commercial and technical analysis to support deal decisions.
• Guide clients through all phases of the deal lifecycle, from due diligence to post‑transaction integration.
• Leverage emerging technologies and innovative tools to enhance client experiences.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and coordinate stakeholders.
• Contribute to thought‑leadership and team development initiatives.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in business, finance, technology, law or related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in due diligence, IT strategy, M&A strategy or management consulting.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects while delivering high‑quality outcomes.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and business writing skills.
• Solid understanding of the Australian market and deal environment.
