About the role
MSS Security, one of Australia's leading security companies, is looking for Security Officers to work at a data centre in Melbourne. The company describes itself as offering long-term career paths, stability and a workplace that values professionalism and dedication.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct foot patrols to keep people safe and the building secure.
- Monitor and control access to the premises so only authorised people enter.
- Oversee CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.
- Provide good customer service and help visitors with their inquiries.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies.
Required profile
- Australian citizen.
- Current NV1 (or willing to obtain).
- Valid Victorian security licence.
- Valid Victorian driver's licence.
- First aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain).
- Ability to work a rotating roster, 24/7 availability.
- Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift during routine patrols.
