About the role
The Data & Insights Analyst will generate customer, commercial and product insights to support the development of go‑to‑market strategies for Bupa's Health Insurance business. You will work across a matrix environment, partnering with business and technical stakeholders to translate problems into data‑driven solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop insights and recommendations through data sourcing, preparation, analysis design and visualisation to inform product development and customer experience strategies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand commercial imperatives and translate them into data‑driven approaches.
- Support the Domestic Retail Portfolio and other functions by delivering ad‑hoc analytical requests.
- Strengthen the technical capabilities of the analytics/performance function and stay updated on health‑insurance industry trends.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in a data and analytics role.
- Strong problem‑solving, quantitative and conceptual skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to influence strategic decisions.
Required skills
- SQL (required)
- R, Python and/or SAS
- Power BI and Tableau
- Data Bricks, Azure Synapse and Azure Data Lake (preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint and Word for presentation crafting
