Data and Analytics Engineer (APS5/APS6)

About the role

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is seeking a Data and Analytics Engineer at APS5/APS6 level to support the Consumer Data Right (CDR) initiative. You will help improve business data quality and enable data‑driven decision‑making across the division.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data integration solutions across multiple platforms and systems.
• Create interactive dashboards to visualise analytics for the division.
• Collaborate with team members on divisional and government‑wide data integration projects.
• Assist in enhancing business data quality, focusing on accuracy and consistency.
• Explore, develop and incorporate AI‑related capabilities where appropriate.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in data integration and data quality improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑focused environment.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive workplace values.
